As an example, lots of people think that removing fat from their diet is essential, so they just eat lean and fat free foods. Suddenly the amount of fat they consume drops.

There are of course two main parts when it comes to burning fat and not muscle. Firstly you have to approach your diet in a way that’s serious. But with your diet you’ll need to change a few things when it comes to carbohydrates, like getting rid of foods that are very high in carbs. But you shouldn’t remove them fully from your diet. You can take advantage of a certain type of carbohydrate found in vegetables and fruits. Once they’ve been consumed, your body will use them for energy instead of fat storage, so you won’t gain fat.
Our next suggestion involves how you approach the process of fat burning without adversely effecting your muscles. But you need to know that for around the initial 20 minutes into exercise your body will burn off glycogen stores, not fat stores. So with that in mind, start out with some resistance workouts for the same period of time – approximately twenty minutes, or so. Of course, you will firstly need to do some stretching exercises and warm up, then you can start the resistance training.
You can then do some cardio work which will be burning off fat stores, not glycogen. So, you should attempt this for some time and then stand back and examine the results.

However if that’s not the case then you should know that by consuming too many they will be turned into fat. We do need them, so eating them is perfectly fine but over eating them isn’t. So if you’re wanting to lose some fat you’ll need to lower your intake of starchy foods and eat protein and fats. Just doing this alone will produce good results if you are also working out in a frequent basis.
